Scope
This notice covers information Tote handles when you create a driver account, apply, respond to application review, and participate in an accepted campaign. Tote provides a separate purpose notice and asks for permission before collecting precise trip evidence.
Application information
Tote collects account and contact information; your broad driving region and normal vehicle-use pattern; age, license, insurance, registration, ownership-permission, and eligibility confirmations; vehicle year, make, model, color, and VIN; the versions of the documents you accepted; and application history. Tote may also collect the answers and current vehicle photos it specifically requests during review.
Campaign information
If you accept an offer, Tote may handle the selected campaign and vehicle, fulfillment status, serialized media, installation and removal evidence, support records, app and device health, verified delivery evidence, earnings, and payout status. A payment provider may collect identity, tax, or bank information directly under its own notice; Tote does not ask you to send bank credentials through driver support.
How Tote uses driver data
Tote uses this information to authenticate your account, review eligibility, prevent duplicate or abusive applications, match compatible campaigns, fulfill accepted offers, verify campaign performance, calculate and explain eligible earnings, provide support, secure the marketplace, meet legal obligations, and maintain an auditable history of decisions and consent.
Who can access it
Authorized Tote operations staff and service providers receive only the information they need for their assigned purpose. Requested application photos are private review evidence. Advertisers receive campaign-level, privacy-bounded reporting and do not receive your VIN, contact information, named personal routes, or inferred home location. Tote does not sell driver personal information for third-party advertising.
Location
Creating an account or sending an application does not authorize precise location collection. Before an eligible campaign can use trip evidence, Tote explains the purpose, permission state, collection window, controls, and retention that apply. The server, rather than a phone estimate, decides whether evidence counts toward campaign delivery or earnings.
Retention and protection
Tote keeps application, decision, campaign, support, fraud-prevention, consent, and financial records for the period required by their purpose, disputes, safety, and law. Raw photos and precise trip evidence use narrower access and retention controls. Sensitive uploads are private, and authentication tokens, identity documents, bank details, and full location payloads are not written to ordinary application logs.
Your choices
You can review your application history and accepted document versions in the driver app. Some answers remain locked while a review is active so the reviewed record stays auditable. Contact Driver Support to request access, correction, withdrawal, deletion, or another privacy right. Tote will explain any information it must retain or cannot change.
Changes
Tote identifies this notice by version. A material change requires a new version and a new acknowledgment before it governs a future application or newly authorized data use.
